In high-rise buildings and large scale buildings, the convenience for those who have difficulty in walking has been enhanced and barrier free designs are still spreading. This means the number of evacuees who cannot evacuate by staircases will increase.
This working groups’ aim for making proposals is to achieve the practical use of elevators for evacuation when fire breaks out.
In our first term workshop, we published a guideline.
In our second term workshop, new members from the Japan Elevator Association and other companies joined us, empowering us to discuss the problem solving approach in a specific and effective manner.< Working Period >
